The Settings controls along the right side of the Main Dialog allow you to set how many stars will receive effects and what the effects will look like.

Most of the controls are Slider Controls. You can slide the control handles with the mouse or change their values directly with the keyboard.

Predefined Settings Controls

The Predefined Settings controls allow you to save and reuse whole sets of control values that you have chosen using the controls in the groups below.

Edit Mode Selection

The Edit Mode Selection control allows you to select the editing mode that you will use to adjust the effects that will be rendered into your image.

Basic Controls

The Basic Controls set is present when you have selected the Basic editing mode using the Edit Mode Selection control. It provides an easy method for selecting and applying effects to your image by automatically adjusting many aspects of the effect.

Advanced Controls

The Advanced Controls set is present when you have selected the Advanced editing mode using the Edit Mode Selection control. It allows you to exercise much greater control over every aspect of the effects.

Effects Editing

The Effects Editing set is present when you have selected the Effects Editor using the Edit Effects Tool. It allows you to add an effect or to edit a single existing effect.
