Activate With Received License Data Dialog

The Activate With Received License Data dialog is the last step in activating AstroFlat Pro using a Web Browser. It will use the Activation Response returned to you by the Activation Server to activate the software.

The Activation Response MUST have been generated using an Activation Request from the same copy of AstroFlat Pro that is to be activated. You CANNOT successfully activate a plug-in using an Activation Response generated from an Activation Request from another plug-in or computer

On-Screen Instructions

The dialog lists the final steps to be taken to complete the activation of AstroFlat Pro. You will use this dialog to perform the final steps in the list.

The dialog also provides an Activation Response status line. When the dialog first opens, the status should look like this.

Activation Server URL

This line in the Activate With Received License Data dialog specifies the address of the Activation Server. You can click on the URL to send your Web Browser to the Activation Server Manual Request Web page where, if you haven't done so already, you can generate an Activation Response.

[ Load From File ] button

Click on the [ Load From File ] button to load the Activation Response from a file. You will be presented with a dialog that will allow you to select the file containing the Activation Response.

This is useful if you will need to use a Web Browser on another computer to activate the software. You can download the Activation Response from the Activation Server Manual Request Web page to a USB drive then move the USB drive to the computer containing the copy of AstroFlat Pro that is to be activated.

If you have successfully loaded the Activation Response from a file, the status line will look like this. Note that the displayed status message includes the name of the file that you just loaded.

[ Paste From Clipboard ] button

Click on the [ Paste From Clipboard ] button (or type Control‑V) to copy the Activation Response from the clipboard.

This is useful if you will use a Web Browser that resides on the same computer as the AstroFlat Pro copy that you intend to activate. You can copy the Activation Response received from the Activation Server Manual Request Web page to the Clipboard and paste it into the Activate With Received License Data dialog.

If you have successfully pasted the Activation Response from the Clipboard, the status line will look like this.

[ Make New Request ] button

The [ Make New Request ] button is used to restart the activation process. You would use this button if some problem with the Activation Response prevented AstroFlat Pro from being activated.

Click on the [ Make New Request ] button to be taken to the Activate Via Your Web Browser dialog where you can start over with a new Activation Request.

Note that every Activation Request is different. You CANNOT activate with an old one after you have created a new one.

[ Activate ] button

The [ Activate ] button is made active (not grayed out) when a valid Activation Response is pasted or loaded into the Activate With Received License Data dialog.

Click on the [ Activate ] button to cause this copy of AstroFlat Pro to be activated. The Activate With Received License Data dialog will close and the Main Dialog will be displayed.
