Soft Flare Control Group Soft Flare

The Soft Flare control group in the Advanced Controls contains Slider Controls with which you set how many stars in your image will receive Soft Flare effects and the appearance of the Soft Flare.

The Soft Flare effect consists of a soft glow extending outward from the star. Both the size of this glow and the rate at which its intensity decreases as the distance from the center increases are adjustable.

The following controls are found in the Soft Flare control group:


Quantity (Q) - Sets how many stars, ranked by brightness, will be given Soft Flare effects Quantity

The Quantity control allows you to increase or decrease the number of stars (ranked by brightness) that are given Soft Flares.


Intensity (I) - Sets the brightness of the Soft Flare effects Intensity

The Intensity control allows you to increase or decrease the intensity of the Soft Flare around a star.


Size (S) - Sets the size of the Soft Flare effects Size

The Size control sets the size of the Soft Flare effects.


Color Saturation (C) - sets the amount of star color that will be rendered into the Soft Flare. Color Saturation

The Color Saturation control sets the amount of star color that will be rendered into the Soft Flare.


Soft Flare Color Hue (U) - Change the color tint of the Soft Flare effects Color Hue Control

The Color Hue control adjusts the color hue or "tint" that will be rendered into the Soft Flare, from more purplish to more greenish.


Edge Falloff (E) - sets the rate at which the intensity of the Soft Flare falls off as the distance from the center increases. Edge Falloff

The Edge Falloff control sets the rate at which the intensity of the Soft Flare falls off as the distance from the center increases.
