Using StarFilter Pro 4 With Other Image Editors

Here are some general guidelines for using StarFilter Pro 4 with an image editor not listed in this manual.

Your image editor MUST support Adobe® Photoshop® compatible 8BF style filter plug-ins. The documentation for your image editor will, most likely, say whether or not it supports 8BF plug-ins.

To Run The Plug-in

StarFilter Pro 4 is a "Filter" type of plug-in. Many editors emulate Photoshop's menu structure, so open your image and make it the current window, then look for a Filters or Effects menu followed by our ProDigital Software submenu containing StarFilter Pro 4.

The documentation for your image editor should provide you more information on how to access "Filter" plug-ins.
