Plug-in File Locations

The installer will install one or two variants of AstroFlat Pro on your system, depending on whether you are running a 32 bit or 64 bit version of Windows and depending on the selections you make when you install the product.

If You Have a 32 bit Windows System

On a 32 bit Windows system, only the 32 bit variant of AstroFlat Pro is installed. The folder that contains the 32 bit plug-in is:

C:\Program Files\ProDigital Software\AstroFlat Pro

The 32 bit plug-in file is named: AstroFlatPro.8bf

If You Have a 64 bit Windows System

On a 64 bit Windows system, the installer will, by default, install both a 32 bit variant of the plug-in and a 64 bit variant of the plug-in. Note that it is possible to avoid the installation of either variant when you install AstroFlat Pro but by default both variants will be installed.

The 32 bit AstroFlat Pro plug-in is installed into this folder:

C:\Program Files (x86)\ProDigital Software\AstroFlat Pro

The 32 bit plug-in file is named: AstroFlatPro.8bf

The 64 bit AstroFlat Pro plug-in is installed into this folder:

C:\Program Files\ProDigital Software\AstroFlat Pro

The 64 bit plug-in file is named: AstroFlatProX64.8bf

Installation Into Editors

In addition to installing the plug-in files into the locations listed above, copies of the plug-in file will automatically be put into appropriate locations for each recognized image editor.

Tip: The above locations of the plug-in files are important if you have to manually install AstroFlat Pro into your image editor. If all of your image editors were recognized by our installer, you probably don't need to worry about these file locations.
