Flat Only Checkbox

Click the checkbox or press O to toggle.

This checkbox allows you to display just the background luminance detected in your image.

• If the [  ] Flat Only checkbox is checked, the Preview Viewport will show only the background luminance map derived using your current settings. It does not apply it to your image.
• If the [  ] Flat Only checkbox is NOT checked, the Preview Viewport will show your flattened image, per your current settings.

If the [  ] Flat Only checkbox is checked when you press the [ OK ] button, just the background luminance map will be written back to the image in your editor. This can be useful if you have duplicated your image as a new layer and are planning to creatively combine the flat with the image yourself using, for example, the layer mixing features of the image editor.

The Flat Only setting will be saved with other Predefined Settings.
